Summary

This directory contains the band-merged science catalogues which have been
produced as part of IPHAS Data Release 2 (Barentsen et al. 2014).

Contents
~~~~~~~~
This directory contains the follow sub-directories:

    - full/
      Directory containing the actual DR2 catalogue in FITS format,
      as documented on http://www.iphas.org/dr2 .
      The contents of these files are identical to the catalogue hosted
      by Vizier at http://vizier.u-strasbg.fr/viz-bin/VizieR?-source=IPHAS2 .

    - light/
      Same as full/ but with a very restricted number of columns.

    - coverage/
      Definition of the footprint in the sky covered by the DR2 catalogue,
      provided both as pretty plots (jpg, pdf) and as a Multi Order Coverage (MOC)
      map in FITS format.

    - fields/
      Band-merged catalogues for each of the survey's field.  These files provide
      access to the full database of photometric detections, including those
      which have been excluded from DR2 because better alternatives were available.
