IPHAS DR2 Individual Field Catalogues

This directory contains the individual band-merged catalogues for each attempt
that was made to observe one of the 15270 fields that define the survey
footprint.

There are two sub-directories:

    - calibrated/
      contains only the best and quality-approved attempt to observe a field.
      The data in this directory was used to build the IPHAS DR2 catalogue,
      and as a result the photometry in these catalogues has been passed
      through a global recalibration procedure (rms = 0.03 mag).

    - uncalibrated/
      contains the observing attempts that were rejected from inclusion in the
      DR2 catalogue, either because a better attempt was available,
      or because the attempt was made under very poor weather conditions.
      The photometry in these catalogues have been calibrated using a nightly
      zeropoint that was derived from a ~few standard fields observed during
      the night, but no attempt was made to apply a global re-calibration
      to account for intra-night zeropoint variations (which are common,
      and regularly introduce a calibration error larger than 0.1 mag).
      Use this data with caution.

The catalogues are provided in binary FITS format. A description of the columns
